Creating great experiences starts with clear communication, transparency, and respect. Here’s how you can make the most of your booking and ensure a smooth process with BOOKD Hosts.

Before booking, take the time to thoroughly review the Space Listing.

• Understand the Property Host's rules, expectations, and amenities.

• When your booking is accepted, you agree to BOOKD’s policies and the Property Host's listed terms.

Choosing the right space helps set the foundation for a successful event.

Read Past Reviews

Reviews give valuable insights from previous Guests.

• Read reviews carefully to know if a space fits your needs.

• After your event, leave an honest review to help future Guests.

Constructive feedback benefits the entire BOOKD community.

Be Transparent

Transparency makes everything easier.

• Share details about your shoot upfront.

• Let the Host know your plan with full disclosure. 

• Misrepresenting your shoot/event could lead to cancellation without a refund.

If special permits or insurance are required, discuss it early.

Communicate and Pay Through BOOKD

Always communicate and transact through the BOOKD platform.

• Manage logistics and booking changes through the platform.

• Staying on-platform protects you under BOOKD’s Terms, secure payment system, Cancellation & Refund policies, and fraud protections.

Off-platform communication or payments are not protected.

Do a Walk-Through with Your Host

Conduct a pre- and post-booking walk-through with your Property Host.

• Take photos or videos of the space together.

• Immediately flag any damages or non-working amenities.

• Ask the Property Host to point out any surveillance devices for transparency.

Respect the space and amenities throughout your booking. Remember, you are responsible for covering any damages caused by you or your guests.

Be Mindful of Restrictions

• Host Rules are in effect from the moment you arrive at the location. Kindly adhere to them and respect the property, its rules, the owners, and be mindful of the neighbourhood. We all want to have a pleasant experience. 
  
• Pay attention to any restrictions listed by the Property Host.
  

• No nudity and pornographic content is allowed in any of the bookings made via our platform. 

• Underage drinking, the use of drugs and other restricted items are strictly prohibited under BOOKD’s policies.
