A renter wants to add more hours to a booking. How do I do that?

If a renter needs to extend the hours of their booking, the process is simple and flexible:

• Direct Communication:

  After the booking is confirmed, the renter can discuss their request to add hours directly with the Host via WhatsApp or the communication channel facilitated by BOOKD.

• Involve BOOKD Support:

  If additional help is needed, either the Host or the Renter can contact the BOOKD support team at [email protected].

  BOOKD will assist in initiating and documenting the extension request to ensure clarity for both parties.

• Approval Required:

  Any additional hours must be approved by the Host in advance, based on their availability and agreement.

• Payment for Additional Hours:

  • Payment for the extended hours must be settled directly with the Host on the day of the shoot/event.

  • The additional charges must be paid in full before the team leaves the venue.

  • Hosts can accept payment by the method agreed upon — it is the responsibility of the Renter and Host to ensure timely settlement.

Important Note:

Extensions are subject to the Host’s availability and discretion. Hosts are not obligated to extend bookings if it conflicts with other schedules or operational considerations.

For smoother coordination and to avoid confusion, we recommend discussing any expected overtime requirements well in advance of the shoot or event date.
