How does the payment system work for hosts?

Charging and Booking Confirmation
- Guests are charged in full once a Host accepts their booking request.
- At that point, BOOKD’s Cancellation and Refund Policy and the Host’s Space Terms come into effect.
Payouts to Hosts
- Host payouts are initiated within T+1 working days from the event/shoot date (where ‘T’ is the actual day of the event or shoot).
- Hosts must share their bank account details with the BOOKD Host Support Team while Onboarding to receive payouts quickly.
Overtime Charges and Security Deposits
- Overtime charges and any security deposit requirements are handled directly by the Host.
- These details are clearly mentioned on each listing page under the Host’s policies and terms.
- If a Guest exceeds their reserved time or security deposit claims arise, the Host will manage them according to the listing’s stated rules.
If you experience overtime usage, Guests and Hosts are encouraged to communicate and settle the applicable charges before you leave the venue for a smooth experience.
